A Space Education Centre having a Digital Planetarium equipped with a highly sophisticated projector and a hemispherical dome screen has been launched at Mizoram Science Centre in collaboration with National Council of Science Museums (NCSM). The planetarium provides state of the art facilities for night sky simulation, star gazing and observation of other astronomical and celestial bodies. The Space Education Centre will serve a major role in disseminating knowledge about Space Science. The planetarium is also equipped with other attractions like :-
